Description of Seating: Vanessa has two front seats, the passenger seat is also a swivel seat which offers an extra chair for dining in comfort at the 360 degree Lagun table. The seating arrangement also provides a handy walkway through to the rear of the van.
Description of Electrical Setup: Vanessa is designed to be fully off-grid capable the 270w solar panel should cater for all electrical needs. There are also 2 high quality 130 ah Leoch lead carbon AGM leisure batteries, a 1200w Victron inverter, a 20 amp Victron inverter, and a Victron smart shunt. An enviable set up for wild adventuring! However, if you do choose a campsite, there is a 10 amp mains charger wired to charge the leisure batteries as soon as the vehicle is hooked up and a 60 amp sterling battery charger that keeps you topped up while you drive. A pop-up, countertop powerpoint gives access to 4 ac plugs and 2 USB ports, so you'll never run out of juice.
Parking: Vanessa sits on a spacious drive in a semi-rural area near Portsmouth. There is room to leave your own car while you are away, or alternatively the train station is a short walk away.
Cooking Equipment: The kitchen units are made from high-quality birch and are stocked with everything you need to showcase your culinary skills; a dual gas hob, crockery and cutlery, wine glasses, chopping board, pots, pans, a kettle, tin opener, bottle opener, sharp knives, as well as a bowl and drainer for whoever draws the short straw and has to wash up! An under-counter fridge freezer and ample cupboard storage complement the cooking set-up.
Water and Sanitation: The grey waste is situated under the sink which has a water pump with an under-sink switch. The fresh water is easily accessible in the rear by the outdoor shower. A portaloo is kept under the bench seat for convenience.
Type of Heating: A thermostatically controlled Maxx roof fan helps create a through-draft and keeps Vanessa at the right temperature. The vent is quiet enough to create a breeze while you sleep for the warmer weather. For chillier nights, an underslung 25L LPG bottle provides gas for a Propex heater with a digital thermostat which can be set to a timer.
Pet Information: Vanessa is not pet friendly.
Extra Information: Vanessa is easy to drive and features a reversing camera and sensors, integrated Tomtom sat nav, cruise control, air conditioning, and bluetooth connectivity. Vanessa has an under-bed garage offering plenty of storage for suitcases, adventure kit, and any other gear you might need.
